Decorate Your Stocking: Embroidery + Decal Workshop

The holidays are coming, and this year your stocking gets a glow-up.

Join us at Malla Market for an afternoon of making your own Christmas stocking. You'll start by embroidering a name onto a canvas stocking (yours, a partner's, your pet's, whoever's it is going to hang for). Then comes the fun part: choose from a table full of illustrated decals, like swans, champagne bottles, cherries, taxis and little gold stars, and press them on to build a stocking that's completely yours.

No embroidery experience needed. Jasmine will walk you through the stitches step by step, and we'll have a heat station set up so the decals go on quickly and stay put.

Come solo, bring a friend, or bring the whole group chat. You'll leave with a finished stocking that's ready to hang.

What you'll learn

• How to hoop and stitch lettering with a beginner-friendly stitch
• How to plan a layout so your name and decals sit nicely together
• How to apply iron-on decals so they stay on
