Come stitch, sip, and slow down for an evening.
Sip & Stitch is a beginner-friendly embroidery workshop where you'll learn to hoop your own fabric, try a handful of foundational stitches, and turn them into a finished pattern, all while sipping coffee and enjoying a sweet treat at Ararat Cafe & Bakery.
No experience needed. All supplies are provided, you just bring yourself (and maybe a friend).
What you'll learn:
- How to hoop fabric properly
- 4 - 5 essential embroidery stitches including flower patterns, and basic stitches for beginner embroidery
- How to read and follow a simple pattern
- Thread basics, types, weights, and how to choose colours that work together
What's included:
- All embroidery supplies (hoop, fabric, needles, embroidery floss)
- One coffee + one sweet treat from Ararat Cafe & Bakery.
- Full guided instruction from start to finish
Good to know:
- This is a small-batch class capped at 11 guests, so instruction is hands-on and personal
- Beginners only, no prior embroidery experience needed
